Nissan has entered the realm of mobile communications. Not quite.
With the introduction of the Nissan Juke case, they relay the compact car’s name and paint to create a seemingly impervious, self-healing iPhone case. The case boasts of a synthetic material called polyrotaxane, which makes up its signature Scratch Shield Protection Technology. This is the same type of paint and coating available on Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, which heals blemishes and scratches over time.
While self-healing may prove to be a draw for many consumers who drop their phone on a regular basis, there’s no healing a cracked LCD screen.
